The Ellis Fairbank Acquisition Targeting team offers a complete and bespoke service for companies looking to acquire businesses for geographical expansion, new market entry or simply building up critical mass.

We are capable of delivering solutions to clients across a broad spectrum, from small family run companies to major FTSE 500 conglomerates from a wide variety of vertical markets.

Using the same skill sets that have built our reputation as one of the country’s leading search and selection houses, we are able to pinpoint some of the “hidden gems” of a particular industry.  Having found these companies we are able to analyse them and put them into context for our client against companies that they may be aware of to give a comprehensive overview of any particular industry or geography.  We can then look to prioritise accordingly against the brief.

Having identified and agreed targets we approach prospective acquisitions personally and directly to ensure that the proposition is given due attention, rather than being dismissed as part of an industry circular.  We believe that getting this process right is essential to the prospects of a deal.  Being turned down at the first stage will normally kill a deal, so our considerable skills in the strategy and technique of the approach that we have accumulated through our company’s 15 year experience of targeted prospecting, gives our clients comfort as well as providing discretion.
